Service types

'There are different types of services dependant on your cars needs. This can be affected by time since your last service, mileage on your vehicle and general wear and tear of parts.

Minor Service

This is a simple service that consists of an oil and oil filter change, along with our 94 point check. The 94 point check means we work through a checklist, looking at every part of you car for anything that may need attention. This checklist is provided to you, the customer so you can see exactly what was done. This service generally take about 1 hour, dependant on the make and model of the vehicle.

Major Service

The major service is the same as the minor service except the is more that needs to be done. This includes, air filter, cabin filter and spark plugs. We will only change these parts if necessary. More often than not, the air filter can have debris blown out and we only change if it is too clogged to function at it's best. If the air filter doesn't need changing then neither does the cabin filter. Spark plugs have a life span of 3-5 years and if they look clean and your car is running well, we will leave them in. This saves you spending money before you need to. This service takes about 2 hours dependant on the make and model of your vehicle.

Log Book Service

This service is kept to the guidelines in the manufacturers service manual so as not to void warranty. These services can be major or minor dependant on what the mileage is and the make and model of your vehicle.

Pre Purchase Checks
